Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for babies, children and young people.
- →Support children with a range of neurodevelopmental needs, including sensory processing, regulation, play, upper limb function, feeding, sleep and access to learning.
- →Work collaboratively with families, carers, schools and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- →Develop individualised therapy plans that promote participation, independence and everyday functioning.
- →Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and care planning.
- →Promote a child and family-centred approach in all aspects of practice.
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong paediatric occupational therapy experience.
- Ability to build positive and effective relationships with children, young people and families.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Interest in developing skills within sensory processing, early intervention, play, regulation, attention and upper limb interventions.
- A collaborative, reflective and enthusiastic approach to practice.
