## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: * Job Description – Senior Technical Lead (Multimedia / Camera) * Strong hands‑on experience in Linux kernel driver development, with deep understanding of kernel internals and device drivers. * Proven track record of upstream Linux kernel contributions, including camera and multimedia subsystem upstreaming, Active participation in open source community discussions. * Solid experience working with open‑source multimedia architectures (V4L2, Media Controller, libcamera, etc.). * End‑to‑end ownership of features across the full product lifecycle — from pre‑silicon enablement, bring‑up, through commercialization, with camera domain experience strongly preferred. * Acts as a technical lead, driving architecture and design decisions for complex multimedia systems. * Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams (10+ engineers team), including task planning, technical guidance, and design reviews. * Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers, understand requirements, debug critical issues, and drive solutions to closure. * Experience in IOT segement * Years of experience : 15+ Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. • 4+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
