Function as an Executive Protection (EP) Agent 1\. EP Agents must be available for frequent international travel. 2\. Coordinate with Assistants to the CEO, and other Exec. VPs, Corporate Aviation, our travel agency, local teams, event security, and others, to arrange and execute the safe and efficient travel of top Executives. 3\. Responsibilities include detailed planning, scheduling ground transportation, advancing sites to be visited, performing security threat assessments, briefing drivers, and coordinating with U.S. diplomatic missions, local law enforcement and foreign government protection teams. May also be required to drive executives on occasion. Also, preparing after action written reports. 4\. Flexibility to deal with constant scheduling changes is a must, along with maintaining a positive attitude and building strong relationships both internally and externally. 2. Provide Security services to Qualcomm personnel and facilities in Europe 1\. Conduct internal investigations in conjunction with HR counterparts throughout Europe, which may involve some travel 2\. Perform security audits and site surveys 3\. Liaison with local law enforcement 4\. Implement Workplace Violence Prevention Program 5\. Assist with Insider Threat matters 6\. Coordinate security for Qualcomm events 7\. Work with Qualcomm’s European Emergency Operations Team Basic Requirements: • Strong analytical skills • Ten years of experience in private sector Executive Protection • Extensive professional travel experience in Europe, Asia and Latin America • Exceptional interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Physically capable/Command presence • Experience in coordinating security and EP in complex environments, to include major international sporting events, diplomatic visits, business events, conventions, etc. • Ability to effectively deal with people in crisis or other high-stress situations • Experience in threat assessment/mitigation • Fluency in English and at least one additional European language • Citizenship in a European Union nation Preferred Requirements: • Investigative experience in fraud, theft, industrial espionage, domestic violence, etc. • Experience in crisis preparedness/resiliency/business continuity • Familiarity with the use of Technical Surveillance Counter Measures in business settings • Experience in providing self-defense training • Professional certificate(s) • Experience in developing and delivering training, such as tabletop exercises, etc. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Security or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 8+ years of Security or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Security or related work experience. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. *References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
