Senior Engineer - Stability

## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: ## The engineer will contribute to the Stability team in ## · Debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues on Qualcomm chipsets. · Collaborate with multiple cross-functional technology teams and execution teams. · Ensure the Stability Quality of the product as per stipulated MTBF metrics to meet product milestones. ## ## The position requires: ## -Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain -Excellent knowledge of ARM architecture: (v7, v8, v9) architecture, Exception models, privilege levels (EL0-EL3), MMU / memory translation, SMP -Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel: internals, device driver model, memory management, kernel crash debugging, watchdog & hang debugging -Expert level knowledge of C -Experience of using debug tools such as JTAG -Excellent communication and presentation skills -Excellent problem-solving skills -Master or bachelor’s degree in CSE, ECE or EE. ## -4 to 5 years of relevant work experience ### Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
