This role suits engineers who enjoy working across the stack, developing intuitive GUI tools and robust back-end solutions in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++. You will play a key role throughout the full product lifecycle, from early R&D innovation to real-world commercial deployment, collaborating with a highly skilled, cross-functional team in the QCT Sensors group. Job responsibilities include: · Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python and C/C++, with experience developing production-quality tools · Hands-on experience with MATLAB, particularly for GUI/tooling, algorithm development, and data analysis · Experience building front-end and back-end components of engineering or analysis tools · Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: modular design, version control, debugging, and testing · Optimizing the DSP operations for edge AI, floating to fixed point implementation and optimizing bitwidths for embedding features on low-power devices. · Embedded software development in C/C++ for fixed & floating-point based designs · Communication of the design, results and issues to the product management, systems and SW leads The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering/Science · Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field · PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
