At Quotes Willowbrook in Houston, TX, great guest experiences start with a strong team behind the bar. We're looking for a full-time Barback to help keep our operation running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and bar environment.

Schedule: This is a full-time bartending position. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

YOUR DAY AS A BARBACK

As a Barback, you will play a vital role in supporting the bartending team and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience. Throughout your shift, you will keep the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other supplies while replenishing inventory before items run out. You will maintain clean and organized bar stations, wash, polish, and restock glassware, and remove trash to ensure the bar area remains clean and professional. You will assist bartenders with setup, breakdown, and closing duties, monitor supply levels, and communicate restocking needs to bar leadership. During peak business hours, you will respond quickly to bartender and management requests, help maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, follow all Quotes policies, procedures, and alcohol-safety requirements, and provide support wherever needed to help ensure guests receive timely and professional service.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A BARBACK

• 2+ years of barback experience
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent
• Positive personality with a team-focused attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move bar supplies
• TABC certification required or the ability to obtain certification
• Ability to take initiative and stay productive without constant direction
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate bartender needs
• Commitment to teamwork and helping provide an exceptional guest experience
