Cleaner (Soft Services Operative)

  The Role We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Alnwick. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment across our site, including offices, laboratories, and communal areas. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working as part of a team.What You’ll Be Doing Cleaning offices, corridors, laboratories, toilets, and general areas Following cleaning schedules and site standards to ensure high-quality results Safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals Keeping cleaning supplies and storage areas clean, stocked, and secure Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns Supporting with deliveries and waste collection when required Working flexibly across different areas of the site What We’re Looking For Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a regulated environment such as GMP) Good understanding of health & safety and safe chemical use A positive attitude and strong team spirit Reliable, flexible, and willing to take initiative Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) Things to Know You may need to work to tight deadlines The role involves working in a safety-focused environment Flexibility may be required, including occasional out-of-hours work Why Apply?
