Sports & Play Intern

Location | Experiential unpaid internship with flexible hours and scheduling

We are looking for interns at River Crossing YMCA!

Interns will participate directly in day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience within their assigned department. This role emphasizes learning by doing, observation, and real-world problem-solving in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

• Experiential credit in partnership with schools (where applicable)
• Hands-on nonprofit experience that directly supports our community
• Real-world experience within a structured internship pathway
• Development of observational, communication, and professional skills
• Exposure to work that complements academic and personal interests

• Desire to learn, grow, and take initiative
• Interest in hands-on, community-based work
• Ability to consistently engage (2-3 visits per week preferred)
• Willingness to complete required background clearances
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
