In this hands-on role, the Events Coordinator will manage the full lifecycle of brand events and activations, from initial application to on-the-ground execution. Positioned within an evolving and entrepreneurial environment, this opportunity will suit a strong person who thrives on logistics, coordination, and seeing complex plans come to life across major retail channels. You'll be highly organised and creative. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Strategy: Identify and secure event opportunities aligned with the Organisation's target market, managing the application process, permits, and compliance for liquor activations. Operational Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end event setups, including branding, equipment transport, and site load-in/load-out, while troubleshooting real-time challenges on-site. Staffing & Talent Management: Recruit, brief, and schedule a national team of promoters, ensuring adequate staffing levels and professional performance across all events. Inventory & Performance Tracking: Forecast stock requirements, manage on-site inventory, and monitor sales and sampling targets to ensure event viability. Reporting & Analysis: Compile comprehensive post-event reports, capturing data on ROI, attendance, and sampling volumes to provide strategic recommendations for future campaigns. Requirements Education: A completed BCom Marketing degree or a degree in a relevant field is essential. Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in events coordination, brand activations, or promotions. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within the liquor or beverage sector is highly advantageous. Licencing: A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are mandatory due to travel requirements to various venues. Availability: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to oversee event execution. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing high-volume promotional staff or brand ambassadors. Proven ability to calculate and report on ROI and event metrics.
