The UDX Global Promotions team leads the development and execution of the global promotions’ strategy for our US domestic theme parks. This team establishes promotional relationships with best-in-class 3rd party partners that drive our collective business objectives. This role is a key position on the Global Promotions Partnership team and is responsible for both business development and creative execution with our promotional partners. This role requires a deep understanding of our UDX strategy and finding and securing win win partner branded campaigns. This role is part of the team representing UDX to potential partners and therefore must quickly establish a sound understanding of Universal Destinations & Experiences as well as the businesses of our sister companies.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Pitch and secure Brand Promotion opportunities, while following the direction of our Company to maximize value.
- →Participate in the development of strategic marketing plans which align with both Universal business objectives and partner interests.
- →Identify and secure prospective partners for programs and campaigns within each category of our strategy approach including Consumer Products tie-in, Universal Pictures tie-in, Corporate Partner tie-in, NBC Ad Sales tie-in, stand alone UDX Brand promotions to ensure the effectiveness and success of Global Promotions.
- →Work closely with Comms Planning for the development of Brand Briefs.
- →Work closely with the Franchise Creative team to build out pitch decks.
- →Serve as Project Manager with partners externally.
- →Supply the research needed to identify potential partners.
- →Provide sound projections to justify strategies, campaigns and plans.
- →Develop execute experiential, traditional and non-traditional co-branded marketing campaigns using both existing and innovative channels.
- →Write creative briefs that provide valuable strategic direction to internal and external partners.
- →Handle the Brand Promotion execution details with both external and internal partners.
- →Serve as point-person internally with Legal, Creative, Fulfillment, Corporate Partnerships, PR.
- →Work with all levels of internal/external management as needed for promotion development and partner management.
- →Oversee the development and project/promotion creative from internal design group, partners in a manner consistent with company initiatives/goals and partner interests.
- →Lead the strategic management of all pre and post promotion analyses.
- →Maintain positive and effective internal and partner relationships.
- →Maintain positive and effective internal and external relationships via video conference and in-person meetings for the sake of the partnership and health of the business
- →Effectively manage and counsel direct report(s).
- →Work with all levels of internal/external management including but not limited to Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents of Marketing, Sales, and Operations as needed for program development and partner management.
- →Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in securing/executing promotional programs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record of successfully integrating promotional campaigns with various businesses.
- Pay Range: $95k - $125k with a 5% bonus
