We are now looking for Senior Stress Engineer to execute projects and support bids in Navi Mumbai.
The Senior Stress Engineer reports to Head of Discipline, Mechanical.
Responsibilities

Act as senior and interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development

Ability to review Client's technical documentation and requirements, interpret topographical and geotechnical survey inputs, carry out detailed site surveys, verification and data collection.

Able to do route selection study, location class study, pigging study, tie-in, feasibility study, design basis, independently able to develop pipeline deliverables, scope of work, route selection report, definition report, material grade selection reports, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, pipeline engineering calculations, stress analysis, technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, MTO

Must have good knowledge of ASME 31.4 and 31.8 and extensive experience with ADNOC / Shell DEP standards

Must have good knowledge and understanding of pipeline drawings (route maps, layouts, alignment sheets, crossing drawings, approach drawings, and isometrics).

Able to organize inputs and supervise for preparation of pipeline drawings, support design, material take-offs, calculations, stress analysis, material specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions as per ASME 31.4 and 31.8.

Mandatory software skills in CAESAR II and able to do stress analysis for pipelines

Understand the interface within the multi-discipline project
- →
Should take full responsibility for proper and timely execution of project deliverables ensuring full compliance with the quality management system and any project-specific contractual requirements.

Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.

Coordinate with members of pipeline discipline, and other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors, etc.

Participates in progress review meetings and is aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned, and close-out.

Ability to prepare documents for pipeline-related workshops (route selection, location class, tie-in feasibility, pipeline constructability) and actively participate in the same

Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity, and budget control
- →
Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
- →
Is able to produce proposals for projects which involve man hours and schedule estimates for pipeline discipline

Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
- →
Cooperating with other engineering disciplines, customers and subcontractors locally or overseas

Able to do Technical Bid Evaluations of selected Vendor Offers

Requirements
~1 min readEngineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Mechanical or Technical related degree.
Minimum of 15 years+ relevant engineering experience in Pipeline Engineering ASME B31.4 and B31.8 and minimum of 8 years in a senior role
Good verbal as well written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.
Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during the peak of the project.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in the English language.
