About the team 

You’ll join the Argos Digital Trading team within Argos Commercial & Digital, a fast‑paced, customer focused team responsible for delivering best‑in‑class digital merchandising experiences. The team plays a critical role in ensuring customers can successfully complete their shopping missions across Argos digital channels, working closely with Commercial, Marketing and Digital teams to drive growth and engagement. 

 

More about the role 

As a Digital Trading Executive, you’ll have day-to-day ownership of the digital trading performance of your category. You’ll track and analyse key performance metrics, identify trends and opportunities, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement actions that improve customer experience, conversion and sales. 

You’ll support planning and execution of digital campaigns, contribute to weekly and monthly trading activity, and play an active role in optimising the customer journey through insight led decision making.

You’re motivated by delivering great outcomes for customers and enjoy working in a commercially driven digital environment. You’re comfortable using data and insight to inform decisions and can work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. 

You’re organised, proactive and able to balance multiple priorities, delivering to weekly and monthly deadlines in a fast paced setting. 

 

Essential criteria 

  • Demonstrable experience using digital or commercial data to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders to deliver agreed trading actions 

  • Experience presenting performance insights and recommendations clearly using data 

  • Evidence of delivering customer focused initiatives within a digital or retail environment 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to defined deadlines
