BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNLICENSED THERAPIST - Part Time

• ✨Join our group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage is hiring for an Unlicensed Therapist - Part Time at Les Peters Academy, St. Petersburg, Florida✨ 

Les Peters Academy is a moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.  

Pay: $24.04 per hour 

 What you will do:

The Unlicensed Therapist works as a staff member of the Behavioral Health Counseling Clinic. The unlicensed professional shall provide individual, family and group counseling services to clients and their families according to the needs documented in their assessment and treatment plan. This position reports to the Clinical Director or other designated supervisor within the clinic.

 To be considered you should:

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or other related behavioral and mental health field.~ Experience in delivering behavioral health services with Medicaid/Medicare billing and documentation standards ~At least two years of experience working with children, teens and family in a behavioral health counseling setting~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
