Plumbing Service Manager – Orlando, FL

R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead and grow our Orlando service operations.

This role is ideal for a leader who understands how to drive performance, develop teams, and deliver a high-level customer experience while maintaining strong operational control.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations of the plumbing service department
• Lead customer acquisition, retention, and resolution of escalated issues
• Recruit, train, and retain service technicians and support staff
• Support department growth through local marketing and performance initiatives
• Oversee dispatch operations and optimize scheduling efficiency
• Build and manage on-call schedules
• Assist technicians with technical support and job pricing
• Ensure jobs are completed properly, efficiently, and priced correctly
• Follow up on estimates and identify revenue opportunities (including commercial work and remodels)
• Conduct regular technician meetings and ongoing training
• Monitor technician performance and provide coaching, reviews, and advancement opportunities
• Maintain employee records and onboarding processes (BambooHR or similar systems)
• Oversee warehouse coordination and material purchasing accuracy
• Maintain organized, professional operations across the department

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience
• Proven leadership experience (Service Manager, Supervisor, or Lead role)
• Strong understanding of service KPIs (revenue, average ticket, conversion, efficiency)
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software preferred
• Ability to lead both in the field and in the office
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A mindset focused on accountability, consistency, and team development
