The Crypto Accounting team is a critical part of Robinhood's financial operations, responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting our rapid growth. As a Crypto Accounting Intern, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our digital asset financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building scalable processes to support our rapid product expansion. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic FinTech environment.
The role will require strong analytical skills (including comfort with spreadsheet-based data manipulation), problem-solving ability, clear communication, and a proactive, patient, and positive approach. You will assist with the monthly close process, financial reporting, and a variety of ad-hoc projects, contributing directly to the team's success.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- →Support financial statement analysis and reporting
- →Apply U.S. GAAP principles to real-world accounting scenarios
- →Collaborate with various teams to gather information and resolve accounting discrepancies
- →Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028
- A foundational understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and interest in how digital assets impact financial reporting
- Effective written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
