As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining crawler, hydraulic, or grove cranes to lift, move, and position various loads.

Responsibilities

Operating crane controls (pedals, levers, and buttons) to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movements based on instructions.

Inspecting cranes for defects and reporting malfunctions to supervisors.

Cleaning and maintaining cranes and hoisting mechanisms to ensure operational readiness.

Estimating safe load capacities based on weather conditions and crane specifications.

Preparing sites by placing appropriate equipment under outrigger pads (timber blocks or steel plates as needed).

Collaborating with signal personnel to position the hook and secure loads using slings, shackles, and chains.
