Telesales Representative – Ghana (Previous Experience & Immediate Start Required) PLEASE READ THE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED.
About the Role
~1 min readOur client is a rapidly expanding e-commerce and logistics business operating across multiple African markets. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their sales team in Ghana with experienced Telesales Representatives.
This is a sales role, not simply a customer service or call-handling position.
We are looking for candidates who already have demonstrable experience selling to customers by telephone, working to sales and conversion targets, handling objections and successfully closing sales.
You should be confident making inbound and outbound calls, identifying customer needs, asking appropriate questions, recommending suitable products and turning conversations and leads into completed orders.
The role is based in Madina, Accra, Ghana, and candidates must be fully able and willing to work from the office Monday to Saturday.
Candidates must be available to start immediately or within a maximum of 1–2 weeks.
What We Offer
~1 min readPlease consider the compensation structure carefully before applying. Candidates will be required to confirm that they understand and accept both the base salary and commission structure as part of the application process.
To apply, please submit your CV together with a short covering letter answering ALL of the qualifying questions below.
- Are you currently based in Accra, Ghana, able and willing to work from the office in Madina six days per week, Monday to Saturday, and do you have the right to work in Ghana without visa sponsorship, with the ability to provide evidence if required?
- Do you have at least 6–12 months of direct telesales experience in which you were personally responsible for selling and closing sales by telephone? Please state:
- the company;
- the products/services you sold;
- whether you made inbound calls, outbound calls or both; and
- approximately how long you performed this role.
- Please provide one specific example of your previous sales performance. This could include a sales/conversion target you achieved, number or value of sales/orders closed, conversion rate, revenue target, upselling/cross-selling result, or another measurable sales KPI.
- Are you comfortable being individually measured against sales, conversion, revenue, confirmed-order and upselling/cross-selling targets?
- The compensation for this position is GHS 1,500 per month base salary plus small percentage commission on the value of every successfully delivered order. Do you understand and accept this compensation structure? YES or NO.
- What is your current notice period and earliest available start date? We are prioritising candidates who can start immediately or within 1–2 weeks.
- Do you have access to all of the following if required for your work:
- a laptop or PC in good working condition;
