Remote position, only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay
At Ryz Labs we are looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer – BuilderEx to build intelligent, secure, and scalable identity experiences across our platforms. In this role, you will work end-to-end—from frontend UX to backend services and AI models—focusing on authentication, authorization, identity verification, fraud detection, and personalization.
This role combines full stack engineering, AI/ML integration, and identity architecture, with close collaboration across product, security, and platform teams to deliver privacy-first, highly reliable systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications powering identity and access management (IAM) experiences.
Develop and integrate AI/ML models for identity use cases such as fraud detection, anomaly detection, risk-based authentication, and identity verification.
Lead and execute SSO migrations across products and platforms, consolidating authentication flows while minimizing user disruption.
Drive domain consolidation initiatives by unifying identity systems, services, and user data models across multiple platforms or brands.
Improve developer experience (DevEx) by building internal tools, SDKs, APIs, and documentation that simplify identity integrations.
Design and evolve secure, scalable APIs supporting authentication, authorization, and identity data services.
Partner closely with Security, Platform, and Product teams to implement and standardize protocols and patterns such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and zero-trust architectures.
Ensure AI-powered identity systems are observable, explainable, and production-ready, with robust monitoring and feedback loops.
Balance security, performance, and usability while maintaining high standards for privacy and compliance.
Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and code quality standards.
Qualifications / Requirements of the Position:
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Platform Engineer, or AI Engineer with ownership of production systems.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent).
Backend development experience with Python, Java, or Node.js, including building secure, scalable APIs.
Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production environments.
Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle.
Proven experience leading or contributing to SSO migrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and/or SAML.
Experience with domain consolidation or identity unification initiatives across multiple applications or platforms.
Demonstrated ability to improve developer experience (DevEx) through internal tooling, APIs, SDKs, or platform improvements.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong security mindset, including experience designing systems with privacy, compliance, and resilience in mind.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, trust & safety, or abuse prevention.
Experience with graph-based ML, NLP for security signals, or time-series anomaly detection.
Knowledge of adversarial ML, model evasion techniques, or secure model design.
Experience building systems operating under strict latency or reliability constraints.
Prior work in regulated or high-risk environments.
Security certifications or relevant coursework (e.g., OSCP, CISSP concepts).
Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools or security telemetry platforms.
Publications, talks, or open-source contributions in AI, security, or related fields.
