Why join us?
We’re a global tech company,  just not the kind you’re picturing.
Sure, we’ve got catered lunches, team events, cool merch, and yes... dogs in the office. But that’s not why people join.

Our team of nearly a thousand people wakes up every day to make our product and our customers’ lives better. At SafetyCulture, you’ll hear “yes, let’s give it a shot” more often than “that’s not how we do things here.”

People join because we’re building tools that make work better for the 3 billion people who keep the world moving - factory floor operators, baggage handlers, truck drivers, servers, store assistants. The ones who make things happen. We’ve got the scale and innovation you’d expect from big tech. The difference? No endless layers of sign-off. No corporate theatre. Just smart, experienced people solving real problems fast .

The scale is big. But the ownership’s personal. Every full-time team member gets equity - real skin in the game. When we grow, you do too. We’re not perfect, no company is. But this next chapter of our growth is about scaling with intelligence, not just size - fueled by operational maturity, a clear vision, and a strong focus on AI.

This is big tech impact, without the big tech ick. If that excites you more than it scares you, you’ll fit right in.

We’re looking for a Marketing Engineer to build and own the technical systems that power modern marketing. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, automation, and AI. You’ll write code, design workflows, create internal tools, and develop AI agents that help marketing teams move faster with confidence. This is not a traditional marketing ops or campaign execution role. You’ll spend most of your time building durable systems, eliminating manual work, and turning clean data into reliable action. If you’re energized by messy inputs, excited to automate yourself out of work, and opinionated about data quality, you’ll feel at home here.
  • Build and maintain internal marketing tools using Retool and JavaScript
  • Write advanced SQL to explore data, generate insights, and create reusable datasets
  • Design, deploy, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows to support marketing operations and decision-making
  • Ensure AI systems are powered by clean, well-modeled, and trustworthy data
  • Connect systems across the marketing stack (product data, CRM, data warehouse, analytics, activation tools)
  • Replace manual, repetitive processes with scalable automations
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into technical and AI-powered solutions
  • Debug issues across data pipelines, integrations, automations, and AI workflows
  • Continuously improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency of marketing systems
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Comfortable writing production-quality logic for internal tools and workflows
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON, async operations, and integrations
  • Able to debug independently and ship reliable solutions
  • Ability to write complex SQL using CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins
  • Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets
  • Build repeatable, well-documented metrics and datasets
  • Diagnose data quality issues and validate assumptions independently
  • Comfortable building AI agents and multi-step agentic workflows
  • Experience orchestrating prompts, tools, memory, and structured data inputs
  • Strong intuition for AI failure modes and how to constrain systems for reliability
  • Ability to prepare, clean, and structure data to maximize AI performance
  • Pragmatic approach to AI — focused on outcomes, not demos
  • Understand how data flows across marketing, product, analytics, and activation systems
  • Think in end-to-end workflows rather than isolated tools
  • Consider downstream impacts of schema, logic, or automation changes
  • Design systems that are observable, debuggable, and resilient
  • Hands-on experience with Retool or similar internal tooling platforms
  • Background in marketing operations, growth, analytics, or data engineering
  • Experience operationalizing AI systems in production environments
  • Familiarity with attribution models, event tracking, and identity resolution
  • Experience building self-serve tools for non-technical stakeholders
