Why join us?
We’re a global tech company,  just not the kind you’re picturing.
Sure, we’ve got catered lunches, team events, cool merch, and yes... dogs in the office. But that’s not why people join.

Our team of nearly a thousand people wakes up every day to make our product and our customers’ lives better. At SafetyCulture, you’ll hear “yes, let’s give it a shot” more often than “that’s not how we do things here.”

People join because we’re building tools that make work better for the 3 billion people who keep the world moving - factory floor operators, baggage handlers, truck drivers, servers, store assistants. The ones who make things happen. We’ve got the scale and innovation you’d expect from big tech. The difference? No endless layers of sign-off. No corporate theatre. Just smart, experienced people solving real problems fast .

The scale is big. But the ownership’s personal. Every full-time team member gets equity - real skin in the game. When we grow, you do too. We’re not perfect, no company is. But this next chapter of our growth is about scaling with intelligence, not just size - fueled by operational maturity, a clear vision, and a strong focus on AI.

This is big tech impact, without the big tech ick. If that excites you more than it scares you, you’ll fit right in.

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team at SafetyCulture. This is a key role within the consolidated entity, working alongside another Senior Accountant to support and develop the broader accounting team while taking ownership of the day-to-day running of core finance and accounting operations.

You’ll bring strong commercial experience, technical accounting expertise, and a genuine interest in building scalable, high-quality finance processes. This role will play an important part in ensuring our financial operations remain accurate, efficient, and well-positioned to support the continued growth of the business.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll also contribute to strengthening controls, improving reporting processes, and helping elevate the overall capability of the finance function as we scale.

income statement and balance sheet accounts, with responsibility for revenue,
OPEX, fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany transfers.

work.
• Contributing to the training and continued knowledge sharing amongst team
members.

Process Improvement & Projects

• Proactively identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement,
standardisation, and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency and
accuracy.
• Contributing to wider finance team projects, including system migrations, ERP

and relevant regulatory requirements.
• CA or CPA qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification
experience.
• Proven commercial accounting experience within a fast-paced business environment,
with a strong understanding of how finance supports broader business objectives.

standards.
• Demonstrated experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet
management.
• Forensic attention to detail with an ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and meet
deadlines.

information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine drive to take ownership and improve
the way things are done.
