Responsibilities

As Analyst Transportation Planning you play a crucial role in creating a stable and cost-efficient logistics supply chain for Scout Motors. You will focus on designing logistics structures and processes. This will ensure the seamless material flow for critical material from our suppliers to our plant.

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

→Inbound Logistics Planning and Optimization: Analyze transportation and logistics data to support the development of logistics concepts for inbound materials from our suppliers worldwide. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve existing transportation efficiency and sustainability. Follow up on the implementation of measures and asses their effectiveness.
→Transportation Contract Management: Prepare, conduct, and implement logistics RFx activities. That includes writing and aligning the necessary documents like RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and SOWs. Clear and effective communication and collaboration with internal departments as well as involved 3PLs or 4PLs.
→Freight Cost Auditing: Develop, align and implement processes for freight cost auditing.
→IT System setup: Represent the business unit and technical requirements to be implemented in the transportation management system to ensure a timely rollout of all necessary functionalities.
→Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain transportation performance reports and dashboards. Analyze logistics KPIs and communicate findings to support operational decision-making. Assist in identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements.
→Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and compliance across all processes.
