Security Guard - Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity as required.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when directed.
• →Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
