As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, offices, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• →Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• →Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
