As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

• →Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas; working conditions may vary throughout the location.
• →Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• →Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the commercial property.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
