As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. • →Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; document visitor activity and unusual incidents as required.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services when needed.
• →Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
