You’ll be working on some of the most high-profile water infrastructure projects in the industry, helping to secure Water for Life for generations to come.

 

 

As Senior Technical Coordinator you will play a key role in strengthening the sustainability and resilience of Seqwater’s infrastructure assets. In this role, you will lead the coordination of design and project management documentation for sustaining capital projects across the full lifecycle. You’ll ensure solutions align with strategic objectives, meet quality expectations, and are delivered on time and within budget, while providing expert advice to support efficient and effective project outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering design for sustaining capital projects, including renewals, refurbishments, upgrades, and asset improvements
  • Collaborate with Asset Strategy, Planning, and project teams across the full project lifecycle
  • Manage procurement of design services, including scoping work, evaluating proposals, and appointing consultants/contractors
  • Oversee design deliverables to ensure quality outcomes aligned to scope, schedule, budget, and business objectives
  • Drive design processes across all stages (concept through to detailed design) in line with standards and requirements
  • Develop business cases and project documentation, and coordinate design delivery with project managers to resolve technical issues and support successful outcomes

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Current active RPEQ registration in a discipline relevant to the position or working towards RPEQ registration within 12 months of commencing employment
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in asset management, infrastructure planning or related field
  • Proven experience in successfully implementing asset sustainability initiatives in asset intensive industries
  • Proven experience in planning and evaluating complex infrastructure projects producing high quality planning reports, design deliverables or business cases

 

This position will be offered on a 2-year maximum term contract with an attractive salary and 12.75% superannuation.
