Responsibilities

Forecast Integrity & Performance Ownership

  • Own the total NA gross sales forecast by synthesizing and pressure-testing inputs across account and category teams into a coherent, reliable outlook
  • Drive regular trend vs. forecast reviews, incorporating sell-through dynamics, retailer inventory health, forecast accuracy, revenue pacing, and new product performance
  • Build and maintain constrained vs. unconstrained demand scenarios, monthly phasing, and financial hedges for NPD launches and supply risk
  • Identify demand risks and opportunities — including cross-retailer dynamics — and partner with stakeholders to recommend and drive corrective action

Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, SS&A, Supply Planning, Finance, and Product Development to gather inputs, align assumptions, and drive accountability in the forecast
  • Own the demand review process with Supply Planning, ensuring cross-functional alignment before new demand signals are actioned downstream
  • Proactively bring insights and risks to the right stakeholders — not after the fact, but early enough to change the outcome
  • Support the preparation and delivery of monthly commercial planning reviews and IBP consensus planning

Insights, Analytics & AI-Enabled Workflows

  • Translate data into clear, business-relevant narratives that drive decision-making across commercial, supply, and finance leadership
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, automate recurring outputs, and surface insights that would be difficult to reach through traditional approaches
  • Support scenario planning and what-if analysis as commercial priorities shift

Process & Tool Evolution

  • Build, refine, and adapt planning processes and reporting frameworks as the team and business evolve
  • Stay curious about new planning technologies — including AI and automation — and bring forward practical applications that raise team capability
  • Help establish and track planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, attainment, and inventory health

The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, adaptable, and driven by impact. They are energized by complexity and change — in role, in technology, in process, and in cross-functional expectations.  Ideally, this role will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Experience in S&OP, demand planning, or commercial analytics in a consumer goods or retail environment; title will reflect level of experience
  • Background in cross-functional program or project management, with demonstrated experience driving alignment and decisions across commercial, supply, and finance teams
  • Strong forecasting fundamentals: baseline demand, promotional lift, NPD ramp, WOS/POS dynamics, and constrained vs. unconstrained bridging
  • Demonstrated ability to turn data into a clear point of view and influence action across a cross-functional team — without relying on authority
  • Comfort with data and BI tools; experience with AI-powered analytics is a strong plus, and an eagerness to adopt and build fluency with AI tools quickly is essential
  • Exceptional communicator — able to translate complex analysis into concise narratives for senior stakeholders
  • Highly adaptable — thrives when the role, tools, and expectations are shifting, and brings structure and clarity rather than waiting for it
  • Proactive mindset and strong follow-through — you identify the insight and you track it through to action
  • Collaborative, curious, and energized by being the person who connects the dots that others miss
