Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services

Develops procedures for office activities, such as filling, records maintenance, typing, word processing, faxing and mail distribution

May assist in or conduct hiring and training of office staff

May assist in or conduct performance evaluations for staff members

Ensure adherence to all laws and regulations regarding employment, affirmative action, safety, drugs and medical waste disposal

Supervises the employees and the work flow of the office

Typically requires 5 years of customer service experience and 3 years of management experience.

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
