Now Hiring:  Material Handlers for Jackson, TN Distribution Center Simon & Schuster, a global leader in book publishing, has immediate openings in its Jackson, TN distribution facility.    Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available for Material Handlers to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. These positions will maintain thorough workflows in various departments.   Requirements: High School Diploma Ability to meet workplace demands Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees Ability to work alongside employees and accomplish daily goals Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift Ability to remain standing and active for the duration of scheduled shifts Comfortable performing a full range of physical movements, including bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and climbing Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards Order Selector/Forklift experience a plus   Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Part-time: 1st Shift:  Monday - Wednesday - Flexible between 7:30AM - 4:00PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Wednesday - Flexible between 3:00PM - 11:30PM     Hourly rate ranges: $16-20/hr depending on experience                           LOCATION: Jackson, TN     Simon & Schuster benefits:   Employee ownership: Broad-Based Long-term bonus plan Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision for FT employees that start on day 1 15 days of PTO, 40 hours of Sick time and 8 floating holidays Company matched 401k Tuition reimbursement program Most roles are eligible to receive annual merit increases   Fantastic growth opportunities
