Production Editor, Children's Publishing

Production Editor, Children’s Publishing The Production Editor will oversee scheduling, trafficking, and production editorial work for approximately 45–60 titles per year across imprints publishing picture books, middle-grade and teen fiction and nonfiction, and graphic novels.   Key Responsibilities Manage production editorial schedules and workflow to ensure quality and timely publication. Copyedit and proofread materials, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Assign and supervise freelance copyeditors and proofreaders.   Qualifications 2–3 years of book production editorial experience. Strong copyediting, proofreading, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple titles and competing deadlines. Experience supervising freelancers. Strong Mac and Adobe InDesign skills.
