As part of the Plan & Design team, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and reporting of field survey operations to enable the successful delivery of network projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an exciting and dynamic company, where you will be involved in crew scheduling, resource allocation, tracker management, and the preparation of operational dashboards and reports to support day-to-day project delivery.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and coordination skills to help ensure the efficient execution of survey activities and operational planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing FMR submissions quality reviews.
- Support the Planning & Survey Engineering Manager in coordinating and scheduling field survey crews to ensure efficient deployment and successful project delivery.
- Maintain and update operational trackers, schedules, and planning tools.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor survey progress and operational performance.
- Monitor survey schedules and communicate updates or changes to relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting systems, planning tools, and operational processes.
- Provide general planning and administrative support to the Plan & Design team as required.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures.
- Maintain team accomplishments by communicating essential information.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 3rd level degree in science, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent IT skills and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Familiarity with the GIS system is a plus.
- Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organisational skills and capacity to prioritise a large workload.
- Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented individual with the ability to complete tasks on time and to a high level of quality.
- Full driver’s licence.
