By overseeing everything from personalized onboarding to high-impact recruitment campaigns and regional meetups, you directly expand our global influence and foster meaningful connections across the industry. Your work ensures that WLT’s powerful foundation translates into a thriving, highly engaged network under Skift’s umbrella.
Some of What You’ll Do
Community Growth & Retention
- Oversee the full membership lifecycle: from application review, approval, and onboarding to continuous engagement, retention, and successful renewals.
- Lead high-impact recruitment campaigns, driving proactive outreach to former members and capturing follow-ups from events and referrals.
- Write engaging monthly member letters and corporate partner updates to keep the community closely connected and informed.
Program & Event Logistics
- Manage the Member Ambassador Program and regional member meetups, handling everything from city selection and venue logistics to signage and collateral.
- Oversee Advisory Board communications, driving annual contract renewals and ensuring seamless backend operations.
Data Strategy & Collaboration
- Track and analyze membership data and budgets to identify emerging trends and consistently measure progress toward organizational goals.
- Partner seamlessly with Skift’s Events, Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure strategic alignment and maximize the community's impact.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in membership, community management, or client success, ideally within media, associations, or the events space.
- A proven track record of successfully driving renewals, managing high-volume recruitment, and scaling membership programs.
- Technical proficiency with CRM systems, membership platforms, and utilizing data analysis to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational skills, allowing you to flawlessly manage multiple outreach cycles, regional events, and communications simultaneously.
- A self-starter mindset, highly capable of thriving in a collaborative, asynchronous remote environment while taking hands-on leadership of high-visibility programs.
Success Metrics
- Growth & Retention: Consistently high renewal rates and successful recruitment campaigns that tangibly scale the Women Leading Travel global community.
- Community Engagement: High attendance, robust engagement, and positive feedback from regional member meetups and the Member Ambassador Program.
- Operational Excellence: Smooth, data-driven management of the membership lifecycle, CRM platforms, budgets, and Advisory Board operations.
- Seamless Collaboration: Proactive alignment with cross-functional teams (Events, Marketing, Sales) to ensure WLT initiatives amplify Skift's broader organizational goals.
What We Offer
