Solutions Architect

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Solutions Architect to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. 

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise security architectures that support complex Federal and national security environments.

• →Define, design, and evolve enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity solutions.
• →Partner with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Data teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient technologies.
• →Establish and maintain security standards, policies, frameworks, and technical guidance across the enterprise.
• →Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and remediation efforts.
• →Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned to mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
• →Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative security capabilities to enhance organizational security posture.
• →Author technical recommendations, architecture documentation, and executive-level briefings for stakeholders.
• →Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and security regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years’ of relevant experience.
  • An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement. 
• Must either possess and maintain one of the following professional certifications:
  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • Security+ – CompTIA Security+
  • Net+ – CompTIA Network+
  • A+ – CompTIA A+
  • MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional
  • MCSE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
  • CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • MCSA – Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.

• Experience conducting industry and peer security reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technical recommendations, or security architecture documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences.
• Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
• CISM Certification
• CCSP Certification
