As a Senior Quality Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality technology solutions across Slide's insurance platforms. You'll lead testing efforts, identify risks before they impact customers, and partner with business and technology teams to support reliable, efficient releases.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and execute risk‑based test strategies for applications, enhancements, integrations, and production fixes
- Create and maintain functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end, and user acceptance test coverage
- Analyze requirements, system behavior, configurations, data, and defects to identify quality risks and gaps
- Investigate issues, validate fixes, and recommend actions to improve quality and reduce recurring defects
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to clarify requirements and support defect resolution
- Support user acceptance testing through scenario development, demonstrations, testing support, and business sign‑offs
- Communicate testing status, risks, findings, and release recommendations to stakeholders
- Support release readiness by identifying and escalating quality concerns when appropriate
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, metrics, documentation, and regression coverage
- Support test automation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and validating results
- Provide technical guidance, peer reviews, onboarding assistance, and knowledge sharing for Quality Analysts
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering experience
- Software testing or quality assurance certification required
- Experience with Property & Casualty insurance systems, products, or operations preferred
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, defect management, and release processes
- Ability to analyze requirements, system behavior, data, defects, and business risks to drive quality outcomes
- Experience developing test plans, documenting results, and providing release recommendations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
