Slide Insurance is currently hiring multiple Staff Counsel attorneys to support our growing legal team.

Opportunities are available in both Pre-Suit and Litigation capacities.

Responsibilities

Manage pre-litigation claims and legal matters.
Provide legal guidance during claim investigations and negotiations.
Partner with claims professionals to resolve matters before litigation.

Litigation Staff Counsel

Handle cases through all phases of litigation.
Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials.
Manage litigation strategy and represent the company in court.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership (in good standing)
4+ years of litigation experience in Florida; first-party property defense experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutes
Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills
Ability to independently analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervision
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong commitment to professionalism, ethics, and Slide’s Core Values
