Small Girls PR is looking for an Experiential Services Leader with 10+ years of experience to lead experiential strategy and client relationships, concept standout experiences that drive social conversation and press coverage, oversee experiential execution across integrated campaigns, and develop a team of talented Producers, Senior Producers, and Directors. This role is responsible for all elements of experiential, which includes client services, strategy, creative, production, and client management. This role will work with a wide range of creative and innovative brands across beauty, food & beverage, wellness, consumer tech, and more.

There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client, which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've busted beauty myths with OLAY in Bryant Park, hosted hospitality suites for B2B companies at conferences in Las Vegas and San Francisco, hosted real estate openings in Miami, and more. This team spotlighted Violife with a cheeky Election Day campaign—activating breakfast stations at polling locations and sending bagel ballot mailers—and reintroduced a Jack in the Box product as a “return from the grave” with a Halloween cemetery screening. From events and mailers, to brand partnerships and hotlines: if the team can dream up an idea for audiences to see, do, or touch - our experiential team can produce it.

Note: This role is based in our Los Angeles office, working two days a week in the office on a hybrid schedule.

  • Oversee a portfolio of experiential projects and client relationships, ensuring strong delivery, client satisfaction + retention, and continued engagement.
  • Serve as the senior strategic lead across a portfolio of clients, setting vision, KPIs, and success frameworks while ensuring consistent delivery of top-tier results.
  • Oversee Experiential strategy while collaborating with peers to develop integrated campaigns that may touch influencer marketing, earned press, paid media, and more.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, providing ongoing strategic counsel and identifying long-term growth opportunities. Grow revenue under management through outstanding client relationships and client service.
  • Lead new business efforts, including pitch strategy, proposal development, and scoping in partnership with senior leadership. Responsibility includes any and all elements that touch experiential, from creative concept and mockups, to activation ideas, to budget and timeline.
  • New business includes RFPs from net-new clients as well as proactively farming your existing book, bringing scope expansion ideas to clients before they come to you, and converting those conversations into signed work. You'll also enable your colleagues across SGPR and the Orchestra network to sell experiential, through pricing packages, one-pagers, internal trainings, and case studies that make it easy for other teams to pitch what we do.
  • New business may be specific to experiential or may be an integrated pitch for multiple service lines.
  • Conceptualize breakthrough, culturally resonant ideas that define client positioning, communicate product differentiators, and generate meaningful talkability (whether social shares and/or earned media)
  • Personally develop experiential strategies and creative concepts, and provide strategic and creative direction to elevate team output and ensure all work is differentiated, impactful, and aligned with client goals.
  • Own the measurement framework for programs across your portfolio, defining how success is evaluated, how results are reported, and how experiential work connects to each client's business objectives.
  • Operate as executive producer on 5-10 programs at any given time, stepping in to guide execution and troubleshoot when needed.
  • Develop mastery of SGPR's existing financial systems with the goal of owning scoping, staffing models, and margin management for your clients.
  • Oversee account performance against budgets and staffing plans, ensuring efficient delivery and strong utilization.
  • Help determine when your group needs to grow, what roles are needed, and who fills them, partnering with your manager and the hiring team to move quickly on the right people.
  • Partner with Department Head and peers to understand team capacity and bandwidth and to assign staffers to projects.
  • Manage and develop Experiential talent, providing mentorship, feedback, and clear growth pathways.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and ongoing coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture that prioritizes creativity, accountability, and growth.

  • Experience - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience within experiential marketing (agency or in-house), negotiating contracts, creating and managing successful experiential programs, and maintaining a strong network of production partners, vendors, venues, and media relationships. You’ve led an array of projects from pop-ups, to multi-day conferences to product launch events to intimate dinners and mobile activations, and have ample knowledge around permit requirements and application processes in major US markets. You've built your career working across strategy, creative, production, and client service, and are looking for opportunities that allow you to flex your well-rounded experiential perspective.
  • Creativity – You are a bold, creative thinker who consistently pushes beyond the expected to develop breakthrough ideas that elevate brands and spark conversation. You translate cultural insights into ownable, experience-led campaign concepts that drive measurable impact and distinguish our clients in crowded markets. You know how to inspire teams, sharpen ideas through thoughtful feedback, and raise the creative bar across every brief — ensuring the work is not just executed well, but remembered.
  • Strategic - You understand your clients’ businesses, able to provide counsel and guidance both in your plans and in ad-hoc conversations. You have a proven track record of developing strategic experiential programs that achieve client goals and KPIs - and keep clients coming back for more. You are skilled in working with interdisciplinary peers to create cohesive programs that are stronger than the sum of their parts, and can identify interdependencies with ease.
  • Presentation Skills – You are a compelling, high-impact presenter who commands the room with confidence and clarity. You deliver persuasive narratives that captivate clients, build trust, and win business. You build confidence internally, skillfully helping your colleagues understand the role and capability of the Experiential team.
  • Organized - You have the ability to monitor progress of personal and team deliverables as well as the status of program pipelines and projects. You provide project management to your team and to integrated teams when called upon, ensuring every individual is contributing to the team’s success.
  • Detail-Oriented - Can spot a typo a mile away, diligent with formatting, double checks everything twice, and never forgets or misses a deadline. You implement systems that improve efficiency and quality across programs.
  • High-Impact Client Leader - You have strong verbal and written communication with the ability to instill client confidence in opportunities, projects, and tasks. You are comfortable taking calls with senior clients by yourself, leading and guiding discussions to actionable outcomes with clarity and authority, whether for a weekly status call or to deal with a difficult situation.
  • Content & Culture Obsessed - You are constantly tuned into culture, events, brand moments, pop-ups, and experiences that people are talking about. You understand what makes something worth showing up to and sharing, and you translate that into ideas that feel relevant, ownable, and impactful for your clients.

  • Atypical Time Off - Generous PTO that scales with tenure, in addition to Summer Fridays, Days of Rest for mental health, Caregiving days, and time off for Unsick Days dedicated to preventative care
  • Deep Work Focus - Our Smalls In Sync program ensures you have dedicated time for collaboration and strategic solo work
  • Comprehensive Benefits - A 100% employer-covered medical plan, 401k match up to 4%, dental, vision, and more
  • Innovative Leadership - Our agency was amongst the first to offer client brand campaigns on TikTok (back when it was still called Musical.ly), has been recognized for pioneering unique HR policies live on The Today Show, and our AI Leadership committee has been training our employees at the intersection of PR and AI for over two years (not two months!)
  • Vibrant Culture - Employee-led committees shape company policy and organize team celebrations from book clubs to outings

At Small Girls PR, fairness and equity are incredibly important factors throughout our hiring process. As a result, we have a set salary threshold for each role to ensure our teams are compensated equitably. For this role, employees are eligible for a bonus that is part fixed and part variable in addition to the salary threshold, therefore the pay range for this role is $146,500 - $146,500.

Our senior level roles are accompanied by a compelling total compensation package. The variable bonus is inclusive of several performance targets which are outlined in an offer letter.  If you feel strongly that we are not aligned in terms of compensation, we highly recommend applying and discussing further with our Talent Acquisition team should we determine there could be a mutual fit!
