As we continue to scale nationally, we’re looking for an experienced and people-first Human Resources Manager to help shape and strengthen our culture, support our leaders, and drive high-performing HR practices across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have real influence across people, culture, performance, and organisational growth within a fast-paced renewable energy business.

Please note: This role is based onsite Monday–Friday at our vibrant Byron Bay HQ located in the industrial estate. Please only apply if you currently reside in the Northern Rivers region.


About the Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll oversee the day-to-day HR function while also contributing strategically to the continued growth and development of the business.

You’ll be the go-to person for employee relations, HR policies, performance management, and people processes - helping create a high-performance, values-driven culture where people can thrive.

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing both operational HR and strategic people initiatives in a growing business environment.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with business goals
  • Manage employee relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Support compensation and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel documentation
  • Conduct audits and reviews of HR processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters
  • Contribute to employee engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Stay up to date with HR trends, legislation, and industry best practices
  • Lead and mentor HR team members where required

You’re an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, improving processes, and supporting people at all levels of the business.

You’ll bring:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in Human Resources or a similar HR leadership role
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar
  • HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP etc.) highly regarded but not essential
