Corporate Gifting Administrator (Internal)

Job Description:

This is an entry-level internal sales role within the corporate gifting division, focused on generating new business and supporting internal sales functions.

Responsibilities:

New Business Development (70%)

· Cold call new clients (resellers and distributors) from an existing database

· Introduce SMD, our brands, products, and categories

· Provide suitable sales solutions and convert prospects into registered resellers

· Set up external meetings, showroom visits, or product tours with potential clients

· Maintain and update the CRM/database with call activity, feedback, progress, and next steps


Sales Support & Administration (30%)

· Assist with internal sales processes and administration

· Raise quotes and process orders on the SMD system

· Prepare and send presentations to clients

· Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure conversion and

 Requirements & Qualifications:

· Matric (minimum qualification)

· No formal tertiary qualification required but advantageous

Experience in cold calling within a B2B environment (adaptive, not scripted)

· Basic to intermediate admin and Microsoft Excel skills

· Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills

· Good command of English (additional languages advantageous)

· Confident, proactive, and target-oriented
