Senior Risk Level 2 Controller
Quick Summary
o Reviewing the effectiveness of Level 1 controls, analyzing control results, anomalies and remediation actions, and assessing whether operational risks are appropriately covered.
· The Senior Risk Controller ensures that the permanent control framework adequately covers operational risks and that Level 1 controls are effectively designed, implemented and executed. Through the review of activities, processes and control frameworks, they assess the adequacy of risk coverage, identify potential vulnerabilities and control gaps, and contribute to strengthening the overall control environment.
· Key responsibilities include:
o Reviewing the effectiveness of Level 1 controls, analyzing control results, anomalies and remediation actions, and assessing whether operational risks are appropriately covered.
o Performing independent testing of Level 1 controls and conducting end-to-end process reviews to assess the quality of control design and execution, identify uncovered risks, vulnerabilities and control weaknesses, and recommend enhancements to the control framework.
o Providing a documented opinion on the effectiveness of Level 1 controls and the adequacy of the control environment, presenting conclusions and recommendations to senior management, and engaging with stakeholders to monitor the implementation of remediation actions and support sustainable risk mitigation.
· Contributing to the development and adoption of automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance the efficiency, quality and consistency of Level 2 control activities.
· Working closely with stakeholders across the Group, including business and support functions, to strengthen risk management and control practices.
· Proven experience in internal/external audit, risk management, permanent control or banking activities.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess processes and controls, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and formulate practical recommendations.
· Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex situations in an international environment.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present conclusions and recommendations to senior management and interact effectively across different levels of the organization.
· Interest in data analytics, automation and AI solutions
· English: mandatory, minimum B2 level.
· French: mandatory, minimum B2 level.
· Bachelor’s degree.
