Greets and ensures that all guests are attended to in a friendly and helpful manner at all times and attempts to use guests’ names at every opportunity. Proactive in assisting courteously and quickly before having to be asked, especially when a guest is carrying luggage and/or other items. Does everything possible to ensure that the guest’s experience is excellent during their stay and leaves a positive impression of the Resort Services and Concierge. Provides information to guests about the resort facilities and services. Has basic area knowledge around the resort, such as nearest malls, convenience stores, drugstores, and hospitals. Maintains a well groomed hair style and wears clean, shiny, well-polished shoes and a neat uniform while on duty. Has full knowledge of Solaire Resort North standards. Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required. Is tasked with opening and closing lobby doors and welcoming guests warmly but professionally. Uses the names of the guests, especially repeat and long-staying guests, and routinely greets guests as they pass through the doors, remaining alert to situations where he can be of assistance to the guests. Keeps the vestibule areas clean and tidy, informing the Concierge OICs if they need major cleaning or maintenance. Coordinates with Bell Service, Doormen, and/or Concierge, should there be a need to assist guests with their luggage or transportation requirements. Requirements Graduate of Hospitality Management or related disciplines. Experience in Concierge or Front Office operations in the Hotel industry Has high initiative, organized, and detail-oriented; has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Has excellent command of both written and spoken English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage.
