Accounting / Bookkeeping Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting / Bookkeeping Specialist to support the ongoing financial operations of a growing e-commerce business. This role will work closely with our existing CPA and internal team to help maintain accurate books, support day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and keep financial records organized and up to date.

This is a hands-on, non-client-facing role suited for someone who is proactive, reliable, and experienced working with U.S.-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and transaction classifications
• Reconcile accounts and assist with monthly close activities
• Support accounts payable / accounts receivable processes as needed
• Keep books current and organized in coordination with the existing CPA
• Assist with financial reporting and general accounting administration
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across accounting systems and records

Required Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with Shopify
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities proactively
• Comfortable supporting an e-commerce business

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a growing or high-volume e-commerce company
• Familiarity with working alongside CPAs or external accounting partners
• Experience with remote/offshore collaboration
