About the Role
~1 min readThe successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland to take up the position.
The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.
This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Process weekly and/or monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- →Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
- →Process starters, leavers, salary changes, working hours, and benefits.
- →Process statutory deductions, PAYE, PRSI, and other payroll-related requirements.
- →Manage timesheets, attendance records, overtime, and holiday information.
- →Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- →Ensure payroll data is entered and maintained accurately within Sage.
- →Assist with payroll reconciliations.
- →Support payroll reporting and related finance administration.
- →Liaise with internal departments to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
- →Ensure payroll processes are completed in accordance with company policies and relevant requirements.
- →Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
- →Provide general administrative support to the payroll and finance function as required.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Payroll Administration or a similar role.
- Previous experience processing payroll in a busy working environment.
- Hands-on experience using Sage.
- Good understanding of payroll processes.
- Familiarity with payroll deductions, employee records, timesheets, overtime, and leave administration.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
The role involves working with Irish payroll requirements, including areas such as PAYE and PRSI.
Candidates with direct Irish payroll experience will be particularly relevant. Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying local payroll requirements as part of the role.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented payroll professional who is comfortable working with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
You should be organised, reliable, comfortable working with payroll systems and spreadsheets, and able to manage deadlines in a busy environment.
You should also be confident communicating with employees and internal teams to resolve payroll-related questions or discrepancies.
