Company/Client Overview:
A growing real estate investment and construction company based in Los Angeles, with multiple active business entities including real estate, veterinary, and electrical contracting. As the company expands, we’re looking for a skilled and analytical Bookkeeper to help oversee financials across all entities and support strategic decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will oversee scheduling, coordination, and communication between clients and on-site crews. You’ll manage ongoing projects, ensure timely completion, maintain quality standards, and handle contractor communications — primarily in Spanish. This position requires someone resourceful, proactive, and excited to help build systems and processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through project completion.
- Review project scopes, blueprints, and estimates; prepare and send proposals.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and estimators to schedule and track job progress.
- Use project management software (Jobber) to manage work orders, scheduling, and reporting.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Communicate regularly with Spanish-speaking contractors and laborers.
- Identify and resolve issues that affect scheduling, quality, or customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous process improvement by identifying efficiency gaps or automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine operational systems and company workflow.
Minimum Requirements:
Language requirement: Excellent English and Spanish Communication Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Industry: construction/electrical industry experience is required
- 3+ years of experience in construction or electrical project management.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) — required for communication with contractors and clients.
- Prior experience using Jobber or similar software (Buildertrend, Procore, etc.).
- Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Prior experience working remotely is required
Preferred Skills:
- Background in electrical contracting or construction services.
- Experience improving operational systems or helping to build internal processes.
- Understanding of cost estimation and resource allocation in construction.
- Ability to implement or optimize project management technology.
