About the Role
This role owns the behind-the-scenes verification work that keeps providers credentialed and clients confident in Caliber's compliance. You'll work the verification dashboard daily, running each required check, documenting results in Target Recruit, and clearing items within policy turnaround times.
What You'll Do
- Run and clear all required provider verifications on the QA dashboard, including:
- OIG exclusion searches (LEIE database) and SAM government sanction checks when requested
- DEA registration status checks, including renewals, duplicate certificates, and address changes
- State medical and nursing license verification (including NURSYS checks and state-specific background/disciplinary review)
- State Controlled Substance (CSR) license verification in applicable states
- NPI Registry verification
- Save all verification results in Target Recruit under the provider's certificate tab following standard naming conventions, and escalate any exclusion, sanction, or disciplinary findings to the QAS and QA Manager immediately
- Process incoming independent contractor work-history verification requests from the verifications@caliberhealth.com inbox: confirm signed Release & Authorization, research work history across TR, ADP, and SharePoint archives, complete the Independent Contractor Letter, and return it within the required 2-business-day turnaround
- Maintain complete, audit-ready verification records across TR and SharePoint
- Monitor the dashboard queue daily to ensure nothing ages past policy thresholds
- With potential to assist with:
- Obtaining provider case logs from prior employment
- Obtaining provider COI’s from prior employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative, credentialing, or healthcare staffing experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort navigating multiple verification databases and systems
- Highly organized, able to manage a high-volume queue with accuracy under deadline pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-intensive documentation work
