Salary Range: USD 1,500 - 2,000 per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About the Company:

The company is a fast-growing drone and e-commerce brand based in South Florida, founded by entrepreneur and self-taught drone engineer. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past year and is now significantly outperforming the founder’s original drone business, which now operates more passively.

The business primarily grows through paid advertising and influencer-driven content, with influencer footage being repurposed into high-performing social and paid media creatives. As the company prepares for further expansion and new product launches, they are looking to significantly elevate both the quality and volume of their video content.

The founder is highly entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and values candidates who can operate independently, take ownership, and execute with minimal oversight.

 

About the Role: 

The company is looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to take creative output to the next level. This role is ideal for someone who understands modern paid social content, short-form storytelling, and performance-driven creative editing.

The successful candidate will work with influencer-provided footage and internal marketing assets to create compelling ad creatives and organic social content that drive engagement and conversions.

This is not a junior editing role. The client is specifically looking for someone with strong creative instincts, senior-level editing ability, proactive communication, and the ability to manage their own workflow effectively. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and creative output.

Candidates will be expected to complete a practical editing assignment during the interview process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-performing short-form video content for paid ads and organic social media
  • Repurpose influencer-provided footage into engaging marketing creatives
  • Improve both the quality and volume of content production
  • Create compelling hooks, pacing, transitions, and storytelling for conversion-focused content
  • Collaborate with the founder and marketing team on creative direction
  • Manage editing workflows independently with minimal oversight
  • Continuously optimize creatives based on performance and engagement trends
  • Utilize AI tools and editing technology to improve speed and efficiency
  • Organize and maintain editing assets and project files
  • Deliver projects within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Video Editor in e-commerce, paid media, or social-first brands
  • Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video editing and paid social creatives
  • Experience editing influencer-generated content
  • Excellent understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, and retention optimization
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Experience using AI tools in editing workflows is highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and creative quality
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with direct-response advertising creatives
  • Familiarity with e-commerce brands and performance marketing
  • Experience working with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta ads
  • Understanding of paid ad creative strategy and conversion-focused content
  • Motion graphics and sound design skills are a plus
