Site Supervisor (Civils) ESB/ESBN Sites - 21216

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland.

The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.

This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Ireland and travel between project locations as required.

• →Run numerous projects in both urban and rural environments.
• →Liaise with clients and client representatives to successfully deliver projects and build relationships.
• →Act as a key contact between the client, Project Managers and Site Managers.
• →Create a strong leadership environment within the project/site team.
• →Manage and coordinate civil crews working on separate sites, including nationwide operations.
• →Carry out regular/daily site visits.
• →Monitor compliance with:
  • →Health & Safety requirements
  • →Quality standards
  • →Environmental requirements
  • →Relevant legislation
• →Review and interpret design drawings in detail.
• →Amend designs where required based on feedback.
• →Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Site Agents regarding work and site-resource requirements.
• →Ensure customer expectations are met and develop customer confidence and trust.
• →Review and continuously improve project processes.
• →Use new technology and innovative approaches to improve services and delivery.
• →Mentor designers and identify training requirements for junior site personnel.
• →Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
• →Plan and oversee delivery of materials, dealing with discrepancies when necessary.
• →Organise logistics for crews, including plant, materials and muck-away.
• →Ensure work complies with client requirements and safety/legal obligations.
• →Oversee traffic management and site safety.
• →Ensure all required safety checks are completed.
• →Liaise with Local Authorities regarding footway inspections before and after installation works.
• →Liaise with the workflow department on programming and scheduling.
• →Provide clients with project/status reports.
• →Act as a first point of contact for members of the public and subcontractors.
• →Deal professionally with customer complaints.
• →Work with clients to maximise the value of their infrastructure.
• →Carry out quality control of completed works.
• →Complete required administrative tasks.
• →Undertake other duties as required.

• Full clean driving licence — essential.
• Qualification in engineering or equivalent — desirable.
• Experience in civils, drainage or utilities, including water and electricity.
• Previous site experience and the ability to read designs/drawings.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Experience managing site activities and multiple teams.
• Good knowledge of HSQE requirements.
• Good knowledge of ground-support systems.
• Computer literacy.
• Confidence and motivation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good time-management skills.
