About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Operations & Support Specialist to serve as the technical backbone of our advisory team. In this role, you will focus on the "behind-the-scenes" execution of tax strategies, primarily managing technical inquiries via email and ensuring our US-based advisors have the data they need to succeed.
This is a non-client-facing role. Your success will be measured by your ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear written responses and provide world-class backend support to our high-income clientele.
Responsibilities
- Technical Email Support: Act as the primary point of contact for client questions via email, providing authoritative and clear explanations of tax codes and strategies.
- Research & Documentation: Conduct in-depth research on tax precedents, deductions, and specialized strategies to support active client cases.
- Strategic Coordination: Work closely with US-based advisors to prepare materials for client meetings and follow up on technical action items.
- Data Management: Ensure all financial data and tax strategy calculations are accurate and ready for implementation.
- Problem Solving: Assist in resolving complex financial or tax-related hurdles for clients in the legal, tech, and medical sectors.
Qualifications
- Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. tax code, S-corps, C-corps, and individual tax strategies.
- Service Excellence: 3+ years of experience in high-level customer support or professional services.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional written English; ability to explain technical financial topics with clarity and professional "polish."
- License (Preferred): Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA candidate preferred, but deep technical experience is mandatory.
- PST Alignment: Fully comfortable working Pacific Standard Time hours.
