Spire is currently looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with a strong marketing focus to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis working across two of our sites, St Anthony's and Gatwick Park Hospitals. 

As Business Development Executive you will be responsible to provide a range of support functions across the business development landscape including Marketing, Sales, Events and Engagement. 

The role will support the local growth strategy and business development plans, as well as supporting in the execution of the group marketing strategy. 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Support the delivery of business development initiatives and communications with stakeholders.
  • Engage with Consultants to promote and develop their practice.
  • Be the brand guardian for the Hub hospitals websites, in hospital promotion, external promotion, social media, and subject matter expert on specific projects or initiatives as directed from central marketing function.
  • Promote and support the operational management of referrer education events, patient events, community events, on and off-site including some evening/weekend work as required.
  • Promote and support the development of new services conforming to Spire guidelines.
  • Marketing experience and understanding of the different marketing channels
  • Exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience of writing copy for website, press releases and social posts. 
  • Excellent proof-reading skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of the Hub team
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • A passion and drive to succeed
  • Competent user of MS Office
