Nursing Team Lead - Outpatients

As Outpatients Team Leader, you will provide visible clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services within the outpatient department. Working closely with the Outpatient Manager, you will help ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care while supporting the ongoing development of the nursing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• →Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the outpatient nursing team, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement

• →Supporting the Outpatient Manager with workforce planning, clinic coordination and safe staffing levels in a high-volume department

• →Coaching, mentoring and developing team members, including supporting appraisals, training and professional development

• →Providing hands-on clinical support and direct patient care when required

• →Ensuring consistently high standards of patient assessment, care delivery and health education

• →Promoting compliance with policies, procedures, clinical guidelines and best practice

• →Acting as a role model, maintaining professional standards, patient dignity and safety at all times

• NMC registered nurse with a valid pin and no restrictions
