Requirements
~1 min readThe People Business Partner is a strategic and hands-on partner to managers across Operations, Clinical, and Laboratory teams. This role aligns people practices with business needs while supporting a consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experience. The People Business Partner provides support across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, employee relations, policy interpretation and performance management, and offboarding. As a trusted partner to the business, this role helps strengthen engagement, accountability, organizational effectiveness, and workplace culture. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong follow-through, comfort navigating sensitive employee matters, and the ability to balance empathy with consistency and accountability.
Responsibilities

- →Assist managers with performance management, coaching, and workplace concerns.
- →Support managers and supervisors on the preparation of corrective actions, coaching plans, and termination of documentation and paperwork.
- →Collaborate with operations leaders to support business objectives and workforce planning.
- →Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
- →Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
- →Assist with benefits enrollment, leave administration, administration and workers’ compensation processes.
- →Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- →Partner with People Team colleagues and Talent Team colleagues to ensure consistency in People Team programs and practices.
- →Conduct and document ADA interactive process meetings for reasonable accommodations.
- →Maintain working knowledge of employee labor law, including but not limited to: leave compliance, wage and hour, meal and rest break laws and required postings.
- →Partner with external employment counsel on employment-related risk management.
- →Support proper FLSA classification and wage compliance.
- →Maintain compliant personnel files, HRIS data accuracy, and confidentiality protocols.
- →Process employment status changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- →Assist with drafting, revising and implementing company policies and employee handbooks with the People Team leaders and legal support.
- →Participate in People Team projects, audits, and process improvements.
